Deep thought Poll: Think of a pivotal moment in your life and what would have changed if you did the opposite.

My gf at the time (soon to be wife, then ex wife) was leaving town to go to college. I wanted us to take a break from the relationship and see how strong we were.

Started to bring it up and she burst into tears, saying she loved me and couldn't see breaking up. This is the same woman who left me for another woman and had these feelings way back in High School.

If we had broken up, I would have stayed in the Bay Area (where I wanted to be all along) would have found somebody else.

Everything would have been replaceable except my kids
