"not if we can't get this under control. If she can't be left alone at ALL, in any form, she won't be going to anyone."

What that might mean makes me REALLY sad. But the woman there was like, you HAVE to be able to leave your house. It's 100% unreasonable that you are stuck in your house, that your house always needs someone in it because of the dog. That's just not reasonable.

Hearing someone who WANTS animals to be adopted saying that she gets why Penny is back with them, softened the blow a bit. I still cried though. :(
