The main argument in my article is that it compares NY MSA to DC MSA

There's nothing factually wrong with comparing NYC MSA to DC MSA, but a lot of people are using it to say DC (meaning the city) is more expensive than NYC (meaning the city) or Manhattan (the borough) and neither of those is true.

But if someone wants to say the DC MSA overall has more expensive housing tat then the NYC MSA overall, it appears they'd basically be on good footing.
