CDC would have an emergency response team ready to swoop in and take over the handling of the patient, in an effort to minimise what's happened now with these two nurses.
It's been a preventable situation and I would shy away from blaming the nurses, or indeed the hospitals, for not being properly prepared. They're not properly prepared because the CDC didn't prepare them as well as they could have.
