I don't see much local news, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are protests against excessive water use.

When it was first proposed there was an outcry about a trailer court being taken over by eminent domain. Then once it was approved there were screams because use of the water park would be limited to hotel guests.

At least with just the guests the traffic congestion shouldn't be much worse. They'll all leave for Disneyland in the morning and back in the afternoon - and I'm sure there'll be a shuttle to the park.

- Yep. It's like a super elaborate hotel pool, essentially. You pay to stay there and you get access to the pool. There is one here by Kings Island - volnelk Oct 16, 05:45
