I rented out my apartment during football weekends when I was in grad school. I would do it again now if

I weren't paying 60% of market rent in a building owned by a crochety old marine who would boot me nine ways to sunday if he found out I was doing it.
I think with air BnB it's harder to vet your tenants, so that would worry me a bit, but really as long as people aren't like setting fire to curtains, I don't care.
