Doubtful, but even if they do, they can still cover it.

Don't be afraid to keep walking away. Say, 'no that will not work' and just leave. If they want the deal, they will either chase you down, or (if they are testing your resolve) call you later to say they worked it out.
It's a big poker game, and you have the strongest hand.
