Man of Steel was pretty meh, but Zack Snyder has made some good films. I certainly wouldn't dismiss Batman vs. Superman simply because MoS was boring.

IMO, unless you take a tongue-in-cheek tone like Richard Donner did, Supes is always boring on his own.
