The Nolan Batman films bring up guns/killing several times. (spoils for all 3)

In the first, Wayne is going to kill Joe Chill, but when Chill is assassinated first Wayne throws the gun in the river because it did not get him what he wanted.
In the second, when he is facing off against the Joker in downtown Gotham: "Hit me, I want you to do it!" he decides to swerve and avoid running him over, rather than running him over, or blasting him with the Batpod cannons.
In the third, he tells Catwoman "no guns" mid-fight. (Of course, she thinks differently and later blasts away Bane with the Batpod)
