seriously, this is the happiest moment of sportsfandom of my life. football and hockey are terrific, and I've had spans of really liking some other sports and/or particular players; but nothing compares to baseball for me, with some of my earliest memories being listening to games on the radio with my dad and learning the game, and then to just love (I don't use that word about non-people a lot) it, and especially the giants. so many years, so many games (radio, tv, in person.)
the a's were good (notsomuch vs the giants, but the earthquake made everything not matter as much); but this is so freaking terrific. :D
