i don't actually agree with mandatory either, but people blow off the one that *based on evidence is way more likely to effect you*

and freak out about the one that is almost, without question, not going to effect you.
i think ebola is serious and we need serious controls. but the divide between perception and reality on it in relation to other things is a little shocking.
