Have a nice life, suggests sarcastically that you are so out of sync with everyone in a "I don't really want to subscribe to your newsletter" sort of

way and you are likely to have a rough time, not that the speaker cares personally, so good luck.
have a nice day is a variant of good afternoon and I guess a sort of self depreciating way of saying I hope its better than mine stuck her behind this 7-11 counter dealing with aholes who really should get a life
