After I locked up from the trick or treaters, went to a friends apartment. Some background: I'm head honcho for a social Meetup group. I kinda fell into it, but whatever. I worse my Mad Eye Moody costume and there were *SQUEALS* of delight when I walked in the door. So that was cool. Still felt like I made more of an effort than most people.
I knew a lot of the people from previous gatherings but there were a lot of others, as well. Some I had just never run into before and others were brand new. It was a relatively small apartment and we had over 30 people, but it didn't feel crowded. I mingled, chatted with everyone. My position as the Meetup organizer means I'm a bit of a "somebody" so most everyone knew me (or knew *of* me) already, which actually made it a lot more relaxed.
Had a great time. Hung out for over 3 hours. Left at midnight ('cause, duh... it's not Halloween anymore!) Not sure there's really any girls there I'd like to pursue but it's nice to get out.
