I have one, too; and I agree, it really does depend on what you will use it for..

I nabbed a fantastic deal on one years ago, still the lowest price I've ever seen, from Amazon.

I don't regret buying it, and I have gotten use from it; but, for my needs - almost exclusively baking, and not of yeast bread - a good hand mixer is my go-to. that gives more control to me, to let me see doughs/batters more clearly.
