Dave's family are assholes.

Tomorrow we are spreading the ashes of his brother Peter (the one with Downs, who passed away a few months ago) with his mother.

Of 5 siblings, three are left.

The other two brothers "can't make it tomorrow" now.

seriously, wtf is wrong with these people? it's 45 minutes away. and we picked this date 2 weeks ago based on discussions with at least one of them (the other, the biggest jerk, wouldn't commit at any point during those two weeks.)
