Well its peeling, but it isn't turning red/silver. It just peels and the skin underneath is cracked

I used to get this when I was a kid, it was diagnosed alternately as a fungal infection and a vitamin deficiency

she uses pine tar soap (kind you can get at any grocery store) to wash her hands.. it really helps. -- nm
