there's no Obama in the Democratic field who's shown any inclination toward running. (Warren could be it, but even then I don't see her being a wide-appeal candidate given her views).

Obama 2006...it wasn't a question of if he'd run and likely win, it was when. Everyone expected him to be the guy in 2016 if Hill won 2 terms, or 2012 if she lost in 2008 to the GOP.

Only Warren has anything close to that talent in the Democratic primary. And she's shown next to no interest in running for the Presidency. To the point, that it's almost like she's being honest about not wanting it.
