By getting rid of it altogether. The problem is that it doesn't properly represent the people.

There's a great bunch of videos by CGP Grey that explains it in a better and more entertaining way than I can.
In short, two parties aren't enough options for us and we should have multiple options for each election.
First to the poll is a terrible way to decide who gets to govern since it'll leave a large percentage of people without someone they think will represent them.
Please, go to YouTube later and watch the CGP Grey videos about elections. Watch some others too, he makes some great and interesting videos.
