Wes, one of the issues with The Crucible is that a player is largely defenseless against the special moves.

The larger issue is that organized teams will absolutely eviscerate solo players.

This is the single best piece of advice I took to heart about the Crucible. Stay with your team as much as possible.

and the "golden gun" for the hunter is like 3 shots, and then done.

Some of them are better than others. You can *miss* with the Warlock special.

I find that ground punch is so overpowered for that game type.

All the supers are overpowered in Crucible as they are one hit deaths. The hunter supers, especially GG, require a lot more precision...
