of the dems running in the purple to red states take that approach, but it's always going to be a loser. They need to learn from the republicans and get better at simplifying their message. It's tough because the liberal mindset wants to get into the weeds of parsing the issues, but they need to get better at simplifying it for the less motivated thinkers out there. And that being said it could just be impossible. You aren't going to change minds among the less educated republican voters. They don't listen. Really what it comes down to is getting out your vote. They need to improve their machine and somehow convince people of the need to get involved even in non-presidential elections.
