That's not what I said at all. What I said is that there is a segment of the republican party that is less educated and consistently votes against

its interests. The question is whether and how you can reach those people. Simplifying the message has been the republican strategy for decades. Promoting fear of change. The democrats don't ever convey simple messages well. But I'm not sure that even works because that band of the republican party is not open to listening or thinking on these issues. It was not a swipe at republicans as a whole. But mostly at the base that drives them.
