I like Dior's mascara base, though, and haven't found a drugstore equivalent - no bases are included this year, nor is a waterproofing topcoat I've liked, boo.

I sometimes splurge on spendy waterproof versions and "bam!" lash formulas - I've had better luck with their removal, especially.

(I sometimes see YT beauty folks buying expensive clear mascaras - that's probably the most waste, I have no idea what they're thinking.)
