It's a great honor. It's me, my CIO, the sales rep, and the dean of one of our colleges. The problem, of course, is that beyond the fact that I dislike sales reps, he's the sales rep for a product in a dying sector that I've been largely responsible for killing. It seems he doesn't know this. He was referred to me by a client at another school who has expressed his regret (to me) at having purchased the product in the first place (a kinda "I told you so" scenario). I suspect my colleague is playing a practical joke on me by having referred the sales rep to me.
