I treat it like dessert, but I am happy with nonfat and no whipped cream. calories that way, for a venti (large) are about the same as a serving of

pint-type, regular ice cream.
less fat; but more sugar, though, which is why it's a special treat for me.
share: I can't drink one by itself, as the not-my-norm sugar can make me crash. the bigger thing is that there's diabetes close in my family, and there's no way I'm upping my risks much more than they already are just by existing.
my most-purchased starbucks beverages are in the warmer months, and are iced americanos (espresso + water) with a splash of milk plus non-sugar sweetener. v. few calories, plus relatively not very expensive. :) -
