where you walk and teach him to stop when you stop - sit when you say sit - start walking again with you when you start ... all the time using the leash and collar to keep him paying attention to you - focused on your commands and staying in line as you walk.

do it for a half an hour - twice a day - for a week

see how it goes ... you might just have a quick learner who also wants to please you - and you'll find the training is easy
