look at reviews at newegg if you want. but you're going to see a ton of idiots saying things like "DON'T EVER USE WESTERN DIGITAL MY DRIVE DIED"
"MY FRIEND HAD THREE SEAGATE DRIVES ARRIVE DEAD ON ARRIVAL DON'T USE SEAGATE"
It's all horseshit. failure rates among all of the major manufacturers are basically the same.
