Okay, I lost access to my work email account months ago, but didn't get around to removing it from my iPhone until last night. Problem.

I woke up and my contacts are gone. Somehow my master list was tethered to that account. Any help recovering it would be appreciated? I plugged in to recover it from my laptop this morning, but got distracted by the kid and it looks like my phone auto-backed up to the new list. I had a couple hundred contacts in there. They can't be gone, are they?

When you removed the account, did a pop up ask you if you wished to delete all message, calendar, contacts, etc? You can delete without removing.. - colin Nov 14, 08:54 1
