I just watched Round 9 of Ward Gatti again.

The fight could have been stopped 3 times. Twice for Ward, once for Gatti. The fact that it wasn't stopped at :20 is amazing. I credit the ref with allowing it to continue. It was the right call but to not step in took guts and allowed the fight to be one of the best in history.
