Being a pit mix is not an automatic death sentence, if the shelter is willing to make an effort (too many aren't). We just helped find a great home
|
for one pure pit and a pit mix because we networked with a pit rescue to help find homes for them.
Shelters have a harder time with pits, and pit mixes, yes, because there are so many of them (and chihuahuas, too), but it can be done.
