Tonight I've been teaching myself about the history and variety of soft drinks.

There's three major players in the market with the Coca-Cola Co., PepsiCo, and Dr. Pepper - Snapple Group. The battle in the following varieties (not counting flavor variants and variants due to sweeteners) :

Cola
Lemon-lime
Root beer
Pepper/spice
Citrus
Orange
Ginger ale

...with skirmishes in the bottled water, tonic water, sports drinks, juice, energy drink, and sweet tea fields as well.

Responses:
