oh my gawd, you will not believe how fast something so innocent and clearly nice on your part can take on an ominous meaning if not mentioned now. If she finds out later by accident - it will look like you have something to hide, which you do not.
why plant a seed of unneeded doubt? tell her and listen so very carefully on how she takes it - be quick to say you will not talk to her again if it upsets her ... in fact: mention there is no reason for her to contact you again.
I am sure she is fine if she is in on the loop.
