Because at the level these athletes are, there's probably just no realistic physical equivalency.

the fastest woman in the world ran a 10.5s 100m. That time is about a full second behind the fastest man ever.
In college, for a specialized skill like place-kicking, you might have a handful of women capable.
Just genetics.
