I caught part of a discussion of Obama's of body cameras and such for police on PBS.

One guy, white, was from the NYPD. The other was black, I missed where he was from. Both where either leaders of their forces or high up. The white guy thought there should be more study of the cameras, the black guy thought they had been used long enough in enough places to prove their worth. The white guy thought that the NYPD was doing well in diversity and training, the black guy thought that all forces could do better.
(After not to long awhile I was pretty sure that the black guy thought the white guy was being an idiot, but he never said it.)
I wondered how it would have gone if the two of them had actually been in the same studio.
