That's how I got my first. I got another from crucible.

The surprising thing is that Ice Breaker seems to do more damage to Atheon than the raid sniper. But with the recoil you can't get off as many critical hits.

The other benefit is that you can swap to it when you run out of special weapon ammo and switch back after it fills up with 6 rounds to get more ammo for whichever gun you were using in that slot.
