think are good parenting choices. Dealing with the sleep deprivation and stress and also the fact that there isn't a one size fits all answer to most parenting questions. Kids are different. So when I feel the need to use the "you can't understand if you're not a parent" kind of argument, it's usually more in the context where someone without kids is criticizing some parenting technique or choice. The "answers" can seem much more obvious from the outside. And while sometimes they can even be right, there's sometimes a lack of appreciation for how hard it can be to do the "right" thing.
