I haven't really been saving since I moved to NYC. I haven't spent more than I make, but not saving.

I've tracked my spending to to penny to make sure I don't spend more than I make. And I did save a bit this year (and will next) as a rainy day fund type thing, but that went to cover my new macbook when my old one died.

My goal all along was not to dip into savings, so I'm good. But I do wish I was saving some (other than my retirement account of course).
