The last few days in Annoying Client Requests:

Client is a bidder to buy a company. All bidders have been asked to submit their prices, as well as their requested changes to a draft sale agreement provided by the seller.

After several weeks of internal discussions about all the things the client needs to add to the draft sale agreement to make sure it is protected against risk, client is happy with the substance of the changes.

However, 3 days ago, a higher up dude at the client decides that we need to make the list of changes "look shorter" without actually changing any of the substance.

After 3 rounds of amendments to try to condense things into denser and denser paragraphs, yesterday I finally gave up and *changed the margins*. This was seen as an improvement, but now I still need to reduce 2 more pages.

I'm seriously considering reducing the font size, but I'm afraid it will seem too sarcastic.
