In response to "I bet you take a bad-beat and are done within 90minutes. -- nm" by Will Hunting

Fruck. Speaking of beats, I was playing a two-table $50 entry bachelor party game two weeks ago....

These guys were incredibly loose and I had built up a decent stack before getting rivered just before the re-entry cut off, leaving me about 1.5 starting stack size. still, I was playing well, making good calls and starting to intimidate the guys who didn't know me but just saw how I was playing.

There was one guy who rebought twice already due to loose play and he took a big pot off another guy on the last hand pre-break. About 1.75 starting size.

First hand post-break (and re-entry cutoff), I get A-K under the gun. Small raise to make it cost a little to stay. Only two callers and the small blind folded.

K-7-2 rainbow. I lead out with a half-pot bet. Loose guy raises about triple my bet. I call and I'm committed anyhow, because we only started with fifty chips at the start of the night and I'm now in for 35 of my 75-80 chip stack.

All in. Quick call. He flipped up 7-2. Guy called a raise pre-flop with 7-2.

And of course, that was the beginning of a horseshoe stretch that had him winning the night. (Three other hail marys paid off along the way.)
