The graduate teaching assistants at University of Oregon are striking. This could have consequences for the Ducks in the playoffs.

Basically, if you don't get a grade, you're not a student. And if you're not a student, you don't get to play football. So UofO very conveniently is declaring "Whatever grade you had before the strike will be your grade for the term".

P.S. The GTAs are already pissed with the new board. This will also alienate the faculty. In its first year in existence, the UofO board is about to go down in a magnificent ball of flames. But... FOOTBALL!
