These are all from friends:

i.e. 1) I watched the TV show "Our House" with a young Chad Allen (who is one year to the day older than I am) when I was 8 or 9 and remember really wanting to "be his friend." (Good Gaydar for a kid, I think...)
2) I had mono in ninth grade and stayed home watching Beaches and heaved and cried so much my mom ran up to check on me b/c she thought I was dying. She probably should've taken that as a sign.
