I just don't see it as coincidence that Bobby Cox, Joe Torre and Tony LaRussa dominated their peers.

They understand how to manage a team on the field and in the clubhouse. That matters.
Conversely, Phil Jackson couldn't help the 76ers and I could coach Cleveland to 50 wins.
