Hilary doesn't want to be the second most popular democrat in the party.
And I expect the Democratic VP to be late 30s/early 40s. They want someone who will be 45-55 when it's time for 2024, assuming Hilary wins twice (which absolutely nobody should be doing, but that is how strategists have to plan).
