We have an old ceramic foot-tall Christmas tree with brite-lites as ornaments that used to sit in our street-side window.

It's chipped and missing a bunch of lights, and was never as fancy as other decorations, but this one has history. I have no decorations for my apartment, but I'd take that one and proudly put it in my window.
