I don't think we'll ever scale down our use or dependency (some cyber war depending). I think we'll simply see an escalating series of security...

measures/counter measures. I think in 25 years cyber warfare between nation states will be a thing...I think it'll lead to instability because in the attackers mind, it's not as as serious as a missile salvo...but to the Attacked, when the power grid goes off, it'll be very very real. Civilians will die.
