huh, was looking at a (formerly) mid-tier gold company in town. they've lost 95% of their market cap in the last 2 years.

billion dollars to 50 million. that's an impressive slide.

there's been a bit of a trend in Aus recently of failed mining juniors being bought by tech companies for back-door listing.

yeah, they're beset by some technical issues. one of their mines in Australia is producing at about $1600/ounce right now.

better than them. they did have a run of bad luck (typhoons, politics, and some unexpected mechanical failures), but mostly it was a bad acquisition
