someday, I will make butter tarts (sans raisins - family and I aren't fond of 'em cooked); but they look almost as labor-intensive

as the pecan tartlets I mentioned. even using (gasp) store-bought dough, that's still a lot of hand-work. (my pecan tartlets have a homemade dough that's rolled into balls then pressed into each wee mini cupcake pan cup.)
