I want more practice...that's the root of my issue.

I hit the ball fine with long irons, I hit driver pretty well (very long)....I don't putt well but that's more becuase I don't practice or read greens well...and short game, I don't practice...
Tempo might work for people; I know my tempo doesn't work for that, the few times I've tried to speed up my swing back, I wasn't in good position to swing forward. When I go slow, I am locked where I need to be for the swing and more often than not, it's a good swing.
