okay, let's talk electrical work.... i want to replace light fixtures, i know how to replace light fixtures, everyone replaces light fixtures.

technically, per our condo rules, i am *supposed* to have a licensed electrician do it.

If its just two-wire fixtures. Also check circuit breakers, if labelled ok, you're fine. -- nm

if the place is 40yo, you might want to check out the breaker box, upgrade to 200 amps, especially check to see if it is recalled
