1. Jay and Adnan weren't really "tight." They were weed smoking buddies. Listening to it all, Adnan never struck me as the kind of stupid moron that would tell someone like that that he planned to kill Hae, let alone involve him in getting rid of the body.

2. The witness, that was never called to testify, that spoke to Adnan at the library at the time Hae was killed.

3. The lies. So, so many lies from Jay. He was a guy who was searching for a story that would incriminate himself as little as possible, while making Adnan look as guilty as possible.
