Not when there's loopholes like purchasing guns at gun shows with no background checks.

I'm not saying it's a major issue, but it's something that is lobbied against. Putting stricter measures in place *anywhere* might impede gun sales to legal gun sales, but personally, I'm ok with having to jump through hoops to buy a gun.
